Michelle Obama received almost 20 percent of the vote in lieu of Joe Biden, the 81 year old.
According to a survey, Michelle Obama, the former first lady of the United States, is the front-runner to succeed President Joe Biden as the Democratic party’s presidential nominee.
In the Rasmussen Reports polls, nearly half of the Democratic voters stated that they would like someone other than Joe Biden to run for US President.
When asked if they were in favor of the party “finding another candidate to replace Joe Biden before the election in November,” 48% of Democrats responded in the affirmative, while 38% disagreed.
Merely 33% of Democrats think there will be a change in the ballot.
Michelle Obama received almost twenty percent of the vote in lieu of Joe Biden, the eighty-one-year-old. The other candidates included Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, California Governor Gavin Newsom, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Vice President Kamala Harris.
About 15% of the vote went to Kamala Harris, while 12% of them supported a rematch between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
There have been some requests for Michelle Obama to think about entering the presidential race.
Obama said last month that she “haunts” herself with intense worry over the impending elections. “The idea that the government is infallible and that we should not take our democracy for granted is disturbing. People ask questions like, ‘Oh my God, does the government really do anything?'” And occasionally I worry that we might. I stay motivated by those things,” she had stated.
The field for the US election in 2024 has long been known, and a rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden seems very inevitable.
Polls suggest that voters find Biden’s age off-putting, but he insists he is the most qualified candidate.
Trump, on the other hand, is adamant that he would run in spite of a potential criminal conviction prior to the election, which may result in decades behind bars.
